Determining the IP Address of a computer

Note: If you are trying to determine the IP Address of the computer running the Sage license server, you need to complete this procedure on that computer.

To determine the IP Address of a computer:

  1. Click [Start] > Accessories > Run

  2. In the Open box, type cmd, and then click [OK].

    The \Windows\...\cmd.exe window appears.

  3. At the prompt, type ipconfig after the drive letter (for example, H:\ipconfig).

  4. Press the Enter key.

    The system displays several addresses, including the IP Address of the computer, which is formatted similar to this one:
    IP Address . . . . . . . .172.20.22.142
